Furgerson's Garage has been providing North County residents with reliable alignment services since 1981. Our service technicians are highly trained and well equipped to provide total alignment services to the owners of various cars, trucks and SUVs. We are able to service hybrid models as well.
Problems with alignment can make a vehicle's steering off, as it may pull in a certain direction. A driver will find him or herself applying pressure to the wheel to counter the problem. Overtime, this can be hard on the tires.
If you start to notice the following, you may want to have a vehicle inspection:
There may be other factors that can cause your vehicle to pull to the left or right, including low air in the tires, mismatched tires or brakes that are dragging. You may want to inspect the tires before bringing your auto in for an alignment inspection. Make sure the tires have the right amount of air pressure. Also, check the size and brand of all four tires. If tire construction is different, it may offset the balance, causing the vehicle to veer to a certain direction.
At Furgerson's Garage, we use cutting edge technology to check the alignment in a vehicle. We use Hunter Digital Imaging Wheel Alignment Technology, a system that uses four cameras to measure the position and orientation of reflection targets mounted on the vehicles four wheels.
The information is used to determine the alignment measurements of your vehicle. These measurements are compared to those specified by the auto manufacturer to determine what adjustments need to be made to fix the alignment.
If your car, truck or SUV is pulling to the right or left as you drive, you may have something wrong with the alignment. If you've checked your tires, and you think you may have an alignment problem, please contact our Encinitas car garage to schedule an appointment.
